Graplo Money Radar is an internal tool operated by Graplo for Graplo's own TikTok account. It is not offered to, sold to, or usable by anyone else, and it creates no user accounts.
01 Scope
These terms cover the operator's use of the software and of TikTok's APIs through it. Because there are no other users, they are a statement of how the tool is operated rather than an agreement offered to the public.
02 What the software does
- Reads publicly available first-party sources about technology released in China, and records each claim with the source it came from and the date it was read.
- Produces short Japanese-language videos from those recorded claims.
- Runs automated quality checks, then sends the video to the operator's own TikTok inbox as a draft.
- The operator reviews the draft inside TikTok and decides whether to post it. The software does not post publicly.
03 Relationship to TikTok
This is not a TikTok product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by TikTok or ByteDance. It is an independent third-party client of TikTok's public developer APIs.
Use of those APIs is subject to TikTok's Developer Terms of Service, Content Sharing Guidelines, and Community Guidelines. Where these terms and TikTok's terms differ, TikTok's terms govern.
04 Acceptable use
- The software is used only with the account that authorised it. The
authorising account's
open_idis verified before every upload, and a mismatch stops the upload. - Only the permissions actually needed are requested:
user.info.basicandvideo.upload. - Uploads go to the account's own inbox as drafts, for a person to review.
05 Prohibited use
The following are not done, and the software contains no code to do them:
- Bypassing CAPTCHAs, authentication, rate limits, or any other technical or policy control.
- Using undocumented or private endpoints to work around a documented restriction.
- Requesting or exercising
video.publish, or presenting a use case to TikTok other than the one described on these pages in order to obtain access or an audit outcome. - Purchasing followers, views, likes or comments, or using bots to inflate any metric.
- Operating any account other than the operator's own.
- Uploading content the operator does not have the right to use.
06 Content standards
- A claim is only narrated if it traces back to a recorded primary source. Claims that cannot be supported are not published.
- Figures are stated with the date they were observed, because a measurement without its moment stops being true.
- AI-generated narration and the AI presenter are disclosed in the caption and through TikTok's own AI-generated-content control.
- The presenter is a wholly fictional persona. It does not depict, imitate, or resemble any real person.
07 Service availability
The software runs on a single machine and is not a hosted service. There is no uptime commitment, no support commitment, and no guarantee that it will run on any given day. It may be paused, changed, or stopped at any time without notice. It also depends on TikTok's APIs, which TikTok may change or withdraw.
08 Limitation of liability
The software is provided as-is and as-available, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Graplo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising from use of the software — including any account action taken by TikTok. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
09 Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
10 Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the software changes; the revision date at the top changes with them. The current revision is 2026-08-27.
